Girls Who Code Clubs rely on several pieces of technology for the club to run smoothly. Below are some of the technologies we use. All of these resources are free, and many are open source.

- Scratch - Used for programming/editing, sharing code
- Khan Academy - Used for live programming/editing, sharing code, and video resources
- ProcessingJS - API used to enhance assignments
- AppInventor - Used for building native apps on Android
- Development studio (Google account required)
- Getting started guides
- Device setup instructions (we'll use option 3, USB connection)
- Tutorials for first-time users. These are available as videos and as PDFs
- Running an app on your own device
- HowTo recipes for common task. These will help you transition from Scratch to AppInventor.
- AppInventor - Used for building native apps on Android
- JSFiddle - Used for building websites and sharing code
- Fluid UI - Live editor used for building storyboarding/wireframing and building websites
